What is SprayCork?
CorkSol is the brand behind SprayCork, a coating containing natural cork granules. It can be used on suitable internal and external walls. The right specification depends on what you want to improve, the existing surface and how your building manages moisture.
Loft King starts with your home: we assess the problem, discuss the finish and explain the preparation needed before providing a written quotation.

01 / Inside your home
Internal SprayCork adds a slim thermal coating to suitable walls. A plaster skim can provide a smooth finish ready for decorating, keeping the added wall thickness modest.

Consider the coating alongside ventilation and moisture control to help reduce surface condensation risk.
Discuss a skimmed, decorated finish and include the required finishing work in your quote.
A lasting improvement starts with diagnosis. Active leaks and underlying damp must be addressed before coating; mould should never simply be covered over.
02 / Outside your home
A textured cork coating can refresh suitable existing render, with flexibility and weather resistance. We check the substrate first and identify any repairs and access requirements.

Before you decide
Every property needs a measured quotation. Wall area, repairs, access or scaffolding, colour and the internal finish affect the price. Your quote will set out the preparation, application and finishing work included.
CorkSol’s installation guide describes two coats of 2–3mm each, with an optional 2mm plaster skim. That gives an indicative finished build-up of 6–8mm with the skim. Your specification will confirm the thickness and any extra preparation.
It can help manage condensation on cold surfaces as part of a suitable treatment plan. Leaks, penetrating or rising damp and ventilation problems need their own diagnosis and remedial work. We assess the cause before recommending a coating.
Sound, prepared render may be suitable. Loose or hollow areas need repair or removal first; a coating cannot stabilise a failing wall or solve structural movement.
No. SprayCork is a thin coating with thermal benefits. Where a substantial insulation upgrade is required, we should compare it with thicker internal or external systems and assess the whole wall construction.
CorkSol advertises a 25-year manufacturer product warranty. Eligibility, registration and the written terms must be confirmed for your installation. Product cover is separate from any installer workmanship guarantee.
Yes, the specified internal system can be plaster skimmed and decorated. The quotation will confirm plastering, decorating, drying time and any work to radiators, sockets or skirtings.
