For suitable lofts that mainly need the insulation brought up to a better standard.
A useful first storage zone without paying to board space you do not need.
A larger boarded zone with a proper route up, designed for the things families want out of the way but easy to reach.
Boarding, insulation, access and lighting considered together in one measured plan.
How pricing works: the packages above use our published standard rates and are examples for suitable installations. Your survey confirms measured areas and whether any removal, opening alterations, downlight protection, moving of stored items or specialist work is required. Anything additional is shown separately in your written quotation before you book.
Important — measured area vs usable area: Measured loft floor area and final boardable or insulatable area are not always the same. Final usable area is subject to safe access, roof shape, services, obstructions and the need to preserve suitable ventilation paths at the eaves and elsewhere. Where necessary, installers will leave reasonable clearances and will not extend boarding or insulation into areas where doing so would compromise ventilation, safety or good installation practice. The final layout and usable area are confirmed from site conditions.
NEED A PROPER ROOM, NOT JUST STORAGE?
If you want a bedroom, en-suite, office or other habitable room, that is a full loft conversion — not a boarding job. Explore rooflight, dormer, hip-to-gable and mansard options, current budget guides and the planning and Building Regulations route.

The boarding system should work with your insulation and ventilation, not against them. We assess the loft before recommending the layout and support system.
How raised loft boarding worksSuitable raised supports create the storage deck while retaining the required space for the insulation beneath.
We assess the hatch, ladder position and usable landing space so the route into the loft is considered as part of the job.
Your quote sets out the measured area, chosen extras and any preparation required, so additions are visible before you book.

A 200mm insulation top-up is £25/m² and standard raised storage boarding is £60/m², supplied and fitted. Qualifying insulation-only work starts from £395; boarding and combined jobs retain the £495 installation minimum. Standalone small works have a £150 minimum. Optional extras and any preparation or specialist work are priced separately. Prices include VAT where chargeable. Your free survey confirms the specification and total before you decide.
Yes. We can assess insulation as a standalone service. Boarding and access improvements are options if you also want storage.
We assess its condition and depth first. The proposed system needs to accommodate insulation and ventilation appropriately; insulation should not simply be squashed beneath boards.
