This example assumes suitable existing insulation, an existing opening suitable for the ladder/hatch set, and a suitable nearby electrical circuit. It is not a fixed price for every whole loft.

Prices include materials, fitting and VAT where chargeable. One £495 installation minimum applies per combined insulation/boarding job. Moving stored items, removal, opening alterations, downlight covers and specialist work are extra where needed. All specification and pricing are confirmed at survey.

Is £2,175 the price for my whole loft?
It is a worked example for the specified areas and equipment, not a fixed whole-loft price. Your quote uses the areas measured at survey and the options you choose. The survey checks whether the standard installation is suitable.
What if my loft needs different areas?
The published rates are £25/m² for a 200mm mineral wool top-up over suitable existing insulation and £60/m² for standard raised boarding. We price the measured areas and selected extras, with one combined £495 installation minimum.
Does the ladder price also include the hatch?
Yes. The £425 aluminium ladder and insulated hatch set includes both items, fitted into a suitable existing opening. Creating or changing the opening is extra if required.
What electrical work is included?
The £150 mains LED light includes a switch, connection to a suitable nearby circuit, up to 5m of cable and testing. Any work outside that standard scope is quoted before you decide.
Where do you arrange surveys?
We arrange surveys in Liverpool, Merseyside and Ormskirk, with wider North West coverage. Share your postcode and the team will confirm local availability and a suitable appointment.

The survey and written quotation are free, with no obligation to proceed. We explain the recommended specification and agree the price before work begins.
How soon can the work be done?
We discuss the available dates after understanding your job. Installation duration depends on the measured area, access and work required; the team will explain the expected timing before you book.
